Welcome to Heightmog, a free web-based suite of height prediction and growth tools (the "Service"), operated by Metellus Productions LLC. By accessing or using Heightmog, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using Heightmog at https://heightmog.com or any subdomain, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Heightmog is intended for general informational and educational use. Users under 13 should only use the Service with parental supervision. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet any applicable age requirements in your jurisdiction.
3. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
The Service does not require account creation, login, or sign-up. All tools (Height Predictor, Height Percentile Calculator, Growth Plate Status Quiz, and "Will I Be Tall?" pages) operate entirely in your browser. We do not maintain user accounts.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use the Service responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically harvest content beyond reasonable personal use
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual
• Misrepresent the Service's outputs as professional medical advice
5. NATURE OF PREDICTIONS — IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
Heightmog provides EDUCATIONAL ESTIMATES based on widely-used scientific methods, including:
• The Khamis-Roche height prediction method (Khamis & Roche, Pediatrics 1994)
• CDC growth charts (LMS parameters for height-for-age percentiles)
• Tanner staging (Marshall & Tanner, 1969/1970)
• Greulich-Pyle skeletal maturity atlas
These are population-level statistical methods. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS VARY. Predictions are typically accurate to within ±2 inches for ~80% of people but are not guarantees. The Service is NOT a substitute for advice from a pediatrician, pediatric endocrinologist, orthopedic specialist, or other licensed medical professional.
If you have concerns about your or your child's growth — including short stature, delayed puberty, growth velocity issues, or any clinical question — consult a qualified medical provider.
6. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
Nothing on Heightmog constitutes medical, legal, or other professional advice. The Service does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Any decision regarding your or your child's healthcare should be made in consultation with a licensed medical professional.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, designs, original calculator implementations, and trademarks on Heightmog are the property of Metellus Productions LLC or licensed to us. You may share predictions and personal results for non-commercial personal use. You may not redistribute, mirror, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without prior written permission.
8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND AFFILIATES
Heightmog may contain links to third-party websites, mobile apps, or services (including affiliate links). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. If we earn commission from a referral, this does not affect the price you pay.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Heightmog is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be free of errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities. Calculator outputs are estimates and may not always reflect your true outcome.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metellus Productions LLC, its officers, contractors, and affiliates are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to decisions made based on prediction results.
11. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR TERMS
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note significant changes via the "Effective Date" above.
12. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or limit access to the Service at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
